Summary
As the Human Resources manager, you are responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise. You will provide a wide range of HR support and advice. You will be a key contributor to the design, delivery and maintenance of Human Resources programs including talent acquisition, talent management, recruitment, rewards programs, training and development, legal compliance, performance management, compensation, company policies and procedures, employee communications, and corporate culture. This role will appeal to someone who is highly motivated, has excellent communication skills, sound judgement, thrives in a fast-paced high-tech environment, and works equally well autonomously or within a team. What you do

Oversee the full recruitment cycle while building proactive recruitment strategies and partnerships.

Lead employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, contract management, performance tracking, and offboarding.

Act as a senior professional resource to provide direction, advice, and guidance to all managers on strategic, tactical, and operational issues related to Human Resources.

Monitor industry trends and adjust compensation structures.

Support learning and development initiatives by assessing offerings against evolving business needs.
-
Develop and operationalize talent frameworks (performance, succession, workforce planning) that support future-state leadership pipelines and critical-skill retention.

Lead the design and execution of HR programs that strengthen culture, drive seamless change enablement, and accelerate organizational responsiveness.

Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase retention.

Draft, update and maintain corporate and regional policies and programs.
-
Oversee performance management and succession planning.
-
Draft, review, and maintain accurate HR documents such as employment agreements, policy handbooks, and HR letters.

Address employee relations issues promptly and constructively.

Stay updated on Canadian employment legislation, trends, and statutory changes; proactively share insights with internal and client teams.

Provide monthly and quarterly reporting analytics, insights and recommendations.
What you need
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Development, or related field, or a combination of education and work experience in HR
-
CHRP designation would be considered an asset
-
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.

Expertise in HR policies and procedures, and benefits management
-
Demonstrated experience with employment laws in Canada; other countries considered an asset

Sound judgment and problem-solving skills

Experience with MS Office suite; familiarity with BambooHR an asset

Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
-
Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English
-
Tactful, diplomatic and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Written and verbal communication skills in French an asset
