Position Title: Executive Assistant
Department: Business Development
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 + annual bonus
Location: Kitchener, ON
Work Model: On-site
About The Role
This is an Executive Assistant opportunity supporting our CEO.
You will play an important role in helping the CEO stay organized, focused and prepared in a fast-moving business. This is a hands-on role that combines classic Executive Assistant responsibilities with the opportunity to create structure, improve ways of working and help reduce friction in how priorities move across the organization.
You will be close to the action, supporting calendar management, meeting preparation, travel, communication, follow-up and day-to-day coordination. Just as importantly, you will help bring clarity and consistency to a busy executive environment by keeping information organized, actions moving and key details under control.
Responsibilities
Managing calendars, meetings and priorities for a senior executive and other leaders as needed Coordinating virtual and in-person meetings, including agendas, attendees, materials and logistics Arranging travel itineraries, accommodation and ground transportation in line with executive preferences Supporting inbox and priority management by flagging key items, tracking actions and helping keep work moving Drafting, proofreading and formatting documents, presentations and correspondence so that everything is clear, accurate and professional Turning raw inputs such as emails, notes and spreadsheets into polished presentations and meeting materials Preparing agendas, compiling pre read material and tracking follow up actions from key meetings Helping to design and maintain effective ways of working for the executives you support, including meeting rhythms and communication flows Supporting the planning and delivery of leadership meetings, customer visits and internal or external events Acting as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and handling sensitive information with discretion
Required Qualifications And Skills
Experience in an administrative, coordination or Executive Assistant role Exposure to supporting leaders, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, arranging travel or handling competing priorities Confident use of Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, and experience working in a digital, Teams based environment Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-through A proactive and forward thinking problem solver who anticipates needs and looks for better ways of doing things Low ego, adaptability and a willingness to learn how senior leaders like to work A polished and professional communication style An interest in understanding the bigger picture and how strong executive support helps the business operate effectively A calm and steady presence under pressure who can juggle shifting demands without losing composure or professionalism

About Canadian Solar EMEA GmbH in Munich
In 2009, Canadian Solar EMEA GmbH was founded and comprises currently of more than 50 employees from 18 different nations. Highly skilled experts represent our team and we are confident to serve our customers. We are a sales organization and can support our sales team from the Munich office within the fields of technical, legal, accounting, marketing, logistics and order fulfillment matters.
Within the EMEA region, we are distinguishing between three different business lines: modules sales, digital solutions and energy business . The first two teams lead from the Munich office, are responsible for the modules sales and digital solutions are finally reporting to CCO Yan Zhuang, responsible for the global sales within Canadian Solar. Globally, the Energy Business Team is led by Arthur Chen and teams are located across Europe in UK and Spain. In the near future Milan will be added. Across all cross-functional departments key personnel is identified as platform to coordinate and support the separate business lines in legal, human resources, accounting and operational matters.
