About the role

Job Summary

The Alumni Engagement & Development Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage alumni and secure philanthropic support for the University of Toronto.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute engagement strategies to connect with alumni.
  • Manage relationships with key alumni and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate events and initiatives to foster alumni engagement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align alumni engagement efforts with institutional goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising, or a related area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education or non-profit sector.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software and CRM systems.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.

Other Relevant Details

  • This position may require occasional evening and weekend work.
