Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and Data Systems Engineer Controls Job Summary Our client in Kanata, ON is looking for a Systems Engineer Controls. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do
- OTA Updates Solution.
- Author, update, and distribute various requirement and specification documents, and work with a variety of individuals to educate and train them on the software update behaviors specified by those documents.
- Support ongoing software update release activities for Multi-Module OTA products across a variety of vehicle programs.
- Coordinate between multiple teams to triage, diagnose, and coordinate resolution of issues found during software update pre-release testing.
- Participate in ongoing test activities for a variety of electronic control modules and coordinate between the program teams and the suppliers to ensure that issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
- Coordinate software development and integration activities between Our Client´s Motor Company and its multiple suppliers to ensure a consistent, reliable, and predictable software update experience for customers.
- Candidate will work with a diverse and global cross-functional team that includes Embedded Control Unit Development, Cloud OTA Deployment Systems, Software Release and Operations Systems, and other feature teams that have dependencies on the OTA solution.
- Candidate will work under the guidance of extremely versatile and capable Systems Engineers and will have the opportunity to mold themselves into an efficient designer, troubleshooter, systems engineer and when required, provide development and testing support.
Basics
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years of experience writing specifications and requirements, particularly for complex systems.
- System Design: experienced in feature end-to-end design, decompose requirements, collaborate with stakeholders and author/cascade requirements.
- System Integration: when software is delivered according to requirements, triage and debug issues identified during testing to ensure smooth system integration.
- Systems Analyst: hand-on experience in analyzing complex systems, interfaces and dependencies among the subsystems.
- Position fully onsite.
