The Construction Site Superintendent - New Build will oversee all on-site operations for a ground-up addition / renovation institutional building project in the $15M range, ensuring quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines are met. This role based on site in Toronto requires a hands-on leader with expertise in GC/CM practices and a strong background in new build construction. Client Details Our client is a medium-sized company within the property industry, specializing in construction and project management services. They have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects in the ICI sector and are committed to fostering a professional and collaborative work environment. Description Oversee all on-site construction activities for ground-up ICI projects in Toronto, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules. Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment on-site. Monitor construction progress, address any issues, and implement corrective actions as required. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and consultants. Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to guide project execution. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports, including daily logs and progress updates. Ensure quality control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
