Corporate/Commercial Litigation Associate
Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP's litigation group is seeking a highly motivated and outcome-focused litigation associate to join their team. The successful candidate will be called to the bar between 2021 and 2023 and is looking to join one of Calgary's most active litigation teams.

To continue providing first-rate service, we are looking for an Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A license and be in good standing to practice law in a Canadian jurisdiction;
- 2-4 years of related experience from a reputable national or top-tier boutique litigation firm;
- Have demonstrated corporate/commercial litigation experience;
- Experience in analyzing and conveying complex legal issues in a practical manner;
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively and strategically in settlement discussions and other dispute resolution contexts;
- Exceptional client service, interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and confidence to take initiative; and
- A demonstrated ability to be responsive, eager to learn, adaptable, and enjoy working in a collaborative and collegial environment.
