What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC milling, turning, VBM, and horizontal milling machines to meet production and quality targets.
- Interpret engineering drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequences, and setup requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines to ensure reliability and uptime.
- Verify machined parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, Verniers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality records.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and production teams to resolve machining and quality issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Follow all company policies, ISO quality standards, and health and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as required to support production operations.
What You Bring
- 5+ years CNC machining experience (production environment preferred).
- CNC programming experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of metrology, tooling, and fixturing.
- Technical school graduate or equivalent hands-on training.
- Proficiency in advanced math (geometry and trigonometry).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical shop floor tasks.
- Knowledge of conventional milling and turning (an asset).
- A self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
