About the role
Summary
Kelson Mechanical Inc. is a leading Mechanical Contractor in the ICI sector. We are seeking a Full-time Receptionist responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support in an effective and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional image for the reception area
- Greet, assist and/or direct visitors and the general public
- Receive and re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
- Receive and re-direct faxes and emails as appropriate
- Maintain an adequate inventory of office, site, washroom and kitchen supplies
- Process all incoming and out-going correspondence
- Record and maintain an accurate list of all office deliveries and/or shipments
- Provide and maintain telephone, email and fax number lists
- Fax and/or email Monthly Progress Billings and send originals by courier
- Provide word-processing, excel-processing, and secretarial support
- Order, revise, and edit business cards for all office staff and project managers
- May assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, and conferences
- Perform other related duties as required
- Run small errands in local area

Desired Skills & Experience
- Acquired knowledge in office administration
- Computer skills including the ability to use Outlook, Excel & Word Processing (Word & Microsoft Office) programs proficiently
- Must be able to multi-task - prioritizing and time management skills are key
- Effective communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Planning and Organization skills
- Must have own transportation
