We are looking for a skilled and proactive Platform / DevOps Engineer to join our AI practice. You will design, build, and manage the cloud and automation foundations that make our AI solutions secure, scalable, and production-ready.

You will collaborate with AI Engineers, Solution Architects, and consulting teams to develop platforms, pipelines, and operational frameworks that power both firmwide tools and AI applications. Your work will ensure our teams can deploy and scale AI solutions efficiently, reliably, and in alignment with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment across AI and analytics solutions.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation to create reusable, scalable environments.
  • Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as AKS, EKS, or equivalent.
  • Implement observability and monitoring frameworks to ensure reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure secure deployment and compliance, including IAM, networking, encryption, and secrets management.
  • Collaborate with AI and software engineering teams to standardize deployment practices and improve system performance.
  • Develop automation scripts, runbooks, and operational documentation to streamline delivery and support handoffs.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging cloud and DevOps tools to strengthen the firm’s AI delivery infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure and AWS, including cloud-native deployment and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking, identity management, and observability best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Flexible living locations across Canada, ability to travel as needed.

The estimated base salary for this job is $95,000 - $125,000 CAD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $106,400 - $147,500 CAD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
