What is the opportunity?
As a Mortgage Protection Specialist, you will support the Mortgage Specialist (MS) team by engaging with clients focusing on delivering deeper creditor insurance expertise at a critical point in the mortgage journey supporting the creditor insurance protection conversation. In this role you will aim to create a strong partnership with the Mortgage Specialists providing a seamless client experience enabling our clients to make an informed and educated decision on creditor insurance and the importance of protecting what is important to them. This is a test & learn environment where you can thrive in a fast pace, setting where agility is key. This role requires someone who can make informed decisions quickly, adapt to shifting priorities, and remain comfortable, navigating ambiguity, change and occasional challenges. A growth mindset and willingness to iterate and evolve will be essential to success.”
What will you do?
- Foster and create COI within the marketplace to generate referrals
- Take accountability for relationship building, embed and sustain activities and client interactions
- Be responsible and accountable for building trusted relationships with Mortgage Specialist team members, act as a trusted partner to manage a build consistent referral stream from the Mortgage Specialist and a collaborative approach to client needs.
- Own the end-to-end creditor conversation, facilitate effective stewardship of client relationships referred by Mortgage Specialist
- Ability to analyze and generate reporting through analytical thinking
- Address client concerns and objections about Creditor insurance, offering thoughtful responses and real-life scenarios.
- Provide a best-in-class advice leading to advice-based solutions (Creditor Products)
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of creditor insurance products, providing client insights on options aligned to their needs
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Skilled in communication (verbal and written) with a professional, partner focused approach
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales environment, demonstrating a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Client-centric interpersonal skills, able to simplify complex creditor insurance concepts and make them relevant to each client’s situation
- Skilled in objection handling through addressing common client concerns about insurance, such as cost or perceived redundancy with employer-provided benefits
- Effective collaboration skills by working closely with Mortgage Specialists, following up on referrals and ensuring a seamless client experience
- Proven ability to be proactive in retaining clients and identifying referral opportunities.
Nice-to-have

- College or University degree or equivalent

Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
