Senior Manager, Associate Relations -Customer Investigations

This role leads complex investigations, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and provides strategic guidance to enhance customer and associate experience while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

This role develops effective investigation programs, including related policies, training, and resources, with a focus on customer allegations of discrimination against Walmart . The role may also conduct meaningful analysis of investigation trends and outcomes, designing reporting tools for executive updates and recommending necessary changes to practices, procedures, and policies.
The role provides leadership and support to senior leaders, offering recommendations based on investigation findings to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. A deep understanding of relevant laws and legislation, including human rights and accessibility, is required. The role may influence and build consensus with key stakeholders across various departments regarding high-profile complaints and other concerns.
The role manages the case process for all investigations, ensuring timely and quality resolution in compliance with global governance and legal requirements. The role also designs and implements strategies, training programs, and materials to mitigate business risks and acts as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. Additionally, the role promotes company policies, supports ethical standards, and oversees the development and distribution of analytical reports to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Legal degree an asset
- Harassment & Discrimination investigation training an asset
Skills:
- Ability to provide feedback / advice to management with respect to workplace investigations, human rights and harassment
- Ability to provide advice and direction in the face of ambiguity to business partners
- Sound judgment. Critical in determining whether an appropriate investigation in the circumstances has been conducted and appropriately escalating complex/high risk matters/ or legal matters
- Ability to accommodate concurrent and significant demands in multiple areas.
- Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate through verbal and written communications clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, time manage, and produce high volume of work product within tight deadlines
- Ability to provide guidance to investigators and review complex investigation reports
- Strong organizational and analytical skills. Comfort with building excel reports, supporting development of dashboards and using new technology
- Ability to work cross-functionally and to develop strong relationships across the business.
- A ppropriate familiarity with employment related laws
The pay range for this position is $109,400.00 - $150,480.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
