Position Overview

The Manager, Clinician Services is responsible for equipping their team to deliver exceptional customer service, foster strong Health Care Provider (HCP) engagement, and achieve financial targets. This role leads a team of Contract Managers and Coordinators, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes across service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Satisfaction
    • Champion a culture of service excellence and responsiveness.
    • Monitor client feedback and service metrics; implement improvements.
    • Support resolution of escalated client issues and maintain strong relationships.
  • HCP Engagement
    • Develop strategies to improve HCP experience, retention, and satisfaction.
    • Ensure timely onboarding, credentialing, and communication.
    • Collaborate with Recruiting and HR to address HCP concerns and recognize performance.
  • Financial Performance
    • Monitor budgets, margins, and forecasts.
    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
    • Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, coach, and mentor Contract Managers and Coordinators.
    • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
    • Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Standardize and improve processes for contract delivery and reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and contract requirements.
    • Leverage data and tools to drive decision-making and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in healthcare, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in health services operations, contract management, or team leadership.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing service delivery metrics.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • A passion for service excellence and team empowerment.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and HCPs.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.
