About the role
Responsibilities: :
- Monitor and measure sales activity and market data, providing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain competitive market information through consistent data collection and analysis
- Establish regular reporting through Jet Reports, Power BI, Pivot Tables, Last Call for sales representatives and marketing
- Produce regular sales forecasts, providing analysis, insights and trends – including forecasting for the following year
- Maintain and develop retail and licensee chain reporting and reconciliations – ensuring relevant data is captured to measure customer profitability specifically in our chain accounts
- Continuously research and propose new tools and technologies to enhance the sales and marketing processes, reports and activities
- Create and implement ad-hoc reports for various teams as requested
- Maintain and update Navision’s sales representatives’ territory code fields
- Produce quarterly dashboards for sales representatives, including a provincial review by channel marketing
- Track and report sales and marketing program results, measure program success and report metrics
- Review national liquor board, LCBO, Grocery and TBS quarterly volumes and provide data analysis
- Review provincial markets including, Atlantic Canada, MB/SK/BC and AB efforts monthly, quarterly and present findings
- Work with our Quebec distributor and director to analyze market trends and provide insights for our agent
- Develop and maintain national pricing grids analysis and reporting
- Extract, Scrub, and modify raw data using SQL queries, from various data sources, and import data
- Produce regular sales forecasts, providing analysis, insights and trends – including forecasting for the following year
- Maintain sales CRM training and content for licensee and retail territories, programming and information nationally
- Develop and integrate new market reporting for other areas and provinces
- Participate in brand strategy and innovation discussions and overall development year-round
- Support distribution routing, reports, inventory reporting analysis
- Aid in demand planning and forecast support for onsite production and 3rd party co-packing needs
- Take initiative to drill down areas of our business to recommend efficiencies, business opportunities and improvements
- Support in-field Ontario sales team to aid in CRM training and business case summaries to close a sale
This is a hybrid role, Monday to Friday, with some days in our Etobicoke office and some days at home
Experience and Qualifications:****:
- Business/Commerce Degree
- Previous experience in an analytical role, preferably in alcohol beverage or consumer packaged goods
- Ability to collect and accurately interpret data findings
- Keen visual eye and attention to detail
- Confident and engaging presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Adaptable, takes initiative and can work independently
- Strategic thinker with good analytical skills
- Ability to design and implement new templates, models and tools
- Advance Excel skills, Navision (Microsoft Dynamics), Business Central, Pivot Tables, Power BI, SQL, Jet Reporting preferred
- Ability to streamline processes to create efficiencies
