What We Need

• Manage Medium and Large Capital Projects ranging from $100k hospital funded up to $300M Ministry of Health Capital Investment Branch funded projects Provide Leadership and Supervision to Project Coordinators and Project Managers serving as additional resources to Medium and Large Capital Projects
• Reporting directly to Capital Planning Manager, updating regularly on; project progress and performance metrics (budget, schedule, scope)
• Project Planning – Functional Planning & Programming with end-users, procuring and directly overseeing Schematic and Design-Development with Architects & Engineers
• Project Implementation – development of tender documents with design team, BPS-compliant procurement of; General Contractor, Design-Build, major equipment through to completion
• Directly managing all project stages from planning through to completion
• Lead a team or independently implement project management process and best practice including; budget, risk management and schedule control, occupancy planning and post occupancy evaluation.
• Manage the day-to-day activities associated with the planning and implementation of the redevelopment project including liaison with hospital user groups, Hospital Leadership, contractor, municipality, Foundations, Ministry of Health Capital Investment Branch, Infrastructure Ontario, and other stakeholder groups to ensure the project remains within developed project parameters.
• Act as the primary liaison, through multiple communication venues, between planning consultants, Engineering, end-users, IPAC, OH&S, architectural consultants and construction team to ensure client and hospital objectives are met throughout the construction and project close-out process.
• Participate/facilitate all project related meetings and conferences, including but not limited to User Group meetings, Community engagement, Design meetings, OAC, Project Steering Committee, and others as necessary.

Work Schedule Monday to Friday, day shifts.
