Summer Promotions - Timmins, ON

Your summer just got a whole lot more exciting! We’re looking for an outgoing, energetic, and reliable Summer Promotions Assistant to represent Country 93.1 across Timmins and surrounding communities.

This is your unique chance to get paid to experience Timmins like nobody else. You’ll be out in the community, attending local events, connecting with listeners, and helping bring the station to life all summer long.

We are looking for a lifer (or at least for the summer - ), someone who gets us and loves being part of the action. We’re fun, fast-paced, and community-driven, and we need someone who brings great energy and loves being around people.

About the Job: Vista Radio has an opening for a temporary, part-time Summer Promotions Assistant, based in Timmins, ON, supporting Country 93.1.

**Term:**May long weekend through the end of August

What you’ll do

• Represent Country 93.1 and its sponsors at events across Timmins and surrounding areas
• Attend and participate in community events, creating a strong and positive station presence
• Compile and maintain a calendar of local events relevant to our listeners
• Capture photos and content at events for use on social media platforms
• Provide on-air “cut-ins” to promote events and engage listeners
• Work closely with Sales, Promotions, and Programming teams to maximize exposure at key events
• Manage promotional item inventory and coordinate distribution throughout the summer

What you Bring

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and reliability
• Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality
• Enjoyment of a fast-paced environment that balances teamwork and individual responsibility
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license
• Clean driving abstract and ability to be insured
• Comfortable engaging with the public and representing the station professionally

Schedule

• Hours may vary, approximately 20 hours per week
• Primarily weekend shifts, with some weekday shifts depending on event schedules and operational needs
• Some evening shifts required, though most events will take place during the day
• Availability to work holidays is required
• Schedule will be flexible based on event calendar
