This position is in the office on a full-time basis. Our offices are located at 6600 Goreway Drive, Mississauga, ON.
Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Accountant to join the Cardinal and Global Sensor Systems Inc. (GSS) finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting one of Cardinal’s fastest-growing business units—GSS—as well as contributing to the financial operations of Cardinal’s broader portfolio.
You’ll be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, performing detailed financial analysis, and helping execute both strategic and operational initiatives within the Finance department. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to help build scalable processes as the company prepares for rapid growth.
Success in this position requires a self-starter who embraces challenge, adapts quickly to evolving systems and technology, and takes ownership of their work with precision and accountability.

A key aspect of this position is inventory management. We’re looking for a self-starter who can help us build and refine our systems. Please include details on your experience managing inventory—especially if you’ve created or implemented processes, conducted reconciliations, and ensured accurate tracking in an ERP system. Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a strong asset.
Other requirements include the following:
- University degree in Business or Accounting and minimum five (5) years of accounting experience in Canada, with a minimum of three (3) years within manufacturing, including inventory management
- Completed or are near completing your CPA designation
- Advanced-level Excel skills
- Experience in major accounting software programs such as Business Central, Great Plains and Management Reporter
- Outstanding written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact across multiple stakeholders at various levels in the organization
- Self-starter with a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership in their work
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines
- High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
- Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, and be proactive
- Impeccable attention to detail

By utilizing a vault system, packages are left after a business closes and picked up, delivered during the night and recieved by 8am the next day. Providing almost direct drive service at a fracton of the cost.
