About the role
Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.
At this time, we are looking for a customer focused, energetic, and detail-oriented Live-in Assistant Resident Manager at Buckingham Place in Moncton, NB. If you enjoy interacting with others, are passionate about providing a clean and safe environment for residents, and take pride in a job well done, this may be the role for you!
What you will do:
- Daily cleaning;
- Tenant relations, inquiries, and rental calls;
- Responding to emergencies and on-call duty, enforcing the rules and regulations of the property;
- Snow removal/salting (building entrances) during winter months;
- Shared on call responsibilities.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in a customer service role;
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision;
- Previous experience with Property Management industry and/or as a Resident Manager is an asset.
