THE ROLE

Under the direction of the Deployment Support Coordinator - Team Lead, the Deployment Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the coordination of administrative and logistical support for the Deployment Support team. This dynamic position, which involves supporting civilians deploying to support CAF and RCN missions abroad, has a wide array of responsibilities such as managing deployment files, claims, coordinating travel logistics, reviewing policy, and contributing to the delivery and organization of our training and development content. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Adult Training or a related field AND some years of experience in training and logistics administration, or a related field.

Experience

In coordinating events, programs and projects
In planning travel arrangements
In providing logistical support
In developing and conducting presentations
In budget administration
In office administration
In procurement of goods, and loss prevention techniques
In interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and regulations
In maintaining filling systems

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English Essential or French Essential. Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
