About the role

Logistics & Warehouse Manager Location: Canada Remote Type: Full-Time | Immediate Start Preferred About Blume Blume is a purpose-driven, fast-growing wellness and personal care brand redefining the category for the next generation. We are on a mission to create a kinder wellness world. To us, it looks like simple, daily habits that fill your cup (both literally and figuratively). We are growing fast and are looking for a Logistics Manager to help us get more cups to more people — reliably, efficiently, and on time. With a strong presence across DTC, Amazon, and retail partners spanning Canada and the US, we're looking for a hands-on Logistics & Warehouse Manager to build and own the operational backbone that keeps our products moving — from our 3PL warehouses to the shelves of our retail partners and the doorsteps of our customers. Role Overview This is a brand new position at Blume — which means you'll be building something, not just maintaining it. Until now, logistics has lived across a few different people on the Operations team. You'll be consolidating that work, bringing structure, improving current workflows and operations, and becoming the go-to person for everything that moves our products from point A to point B. You'll work closely with our VP of Operations, Dir. Supply Chain, and Supply Chain Specialist — and interface regularly with our 3PL partners, freight carriers, and also with our major vendors. The role spans execution and communication equally: you need to be just as comfortable booking an LTL shipment as you are communicating clearly and professionally with our Customer’s purchasing team or supply chain team. Key Responsibilities

Freight & Carrier Management Own day-to-day LTL and FTL freight booking, carrier coordination, and shipment tracking for outbound retail and wholesale orders Obtain and compare freight quotes; manage carrier relationships and hold them accountable to service standards Resolve freight exceptions, claims, delays, and damage issues end-to-end Ensure BOLs, PODs, and shipping documents are accurate and filed

Warehouse & Inventory Coordination Liaise with our 3PL partners (currently Stord, with locations in Delta, BC & Ferndale, WA) on inbound receipts, outbound fulfillment, and inventory accuracy Monitor warehouse KPIs — fill rates, shipment accuracy, on-time delivery — flag and solve issues proactively Manage inventory reconciliation between our ERP (NetSuite) and 3PL warehouse records for Finished Goods Coordinate transfer orders between warehouse locations as needed

Order Management & Retail/Wholesale Logistics Manage retail and wholesale order logistics from ship-window to delivery confirmation — including routing guides, compliance requirements, and retailer-specific labelling Create and maintain sales orders, purchase orders, and fulfillment records in NetSuite Communicate with buyers and supply chain contacts at retail partners (e.g. Loblaw, Sobeys, KeHE, McKesson, Thrive Market) on shipping timelines, delays, and exceptions Help prepare EDI-related documentation and ensure retailer compliance to avoid chargebacks

Systems & Reporting Maintain accurate logistics data in NetSuite — shipment records, carrier costs, delivery confirmations Pull and distribute regular reports on open orders, freight spend, and fulfillment performance Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, drive cost savings initiatives, and build scalable systems as we grow Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations in a CPG environment Hands-on experience with LTL freight: booking, tracking, carrier negotiation, and claims Experience managing multiple 3PLs or warehouse partners Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external partners (buyers, carriers, retailer’s supply chain teams) Strong organizational skills — you manage a lot of moving pieces & uncertainties Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment where you'll need to figure things out

Strong Assets NetSuite experience (or another ERP) Experience in food or beverage — understanding of lot tracking, expiry management, and food-grade compliance is a genuine plus Familiarity with retail compliance requirements and routing guides (big box, natural channel, or club) Cross-border logistics & customs experience between Canada and the US Experience working at a startup or scaling company with a small ops team Compensation & Benefits Salary: based on experience Extended health benefits Generous product allowance Flexible work culture The opportunity to build and own a function from the ground up as we scale
