Job Description
Your mission will be to lead and integrate Quality in order to ensure the consistency, performance, and sustainability of the Quality Management System, by mobilizing teams and aligning practices with the company's vision and objectives.
Main Responsibilities
You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for the following:

Lead the planning, operation, monitoring, and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure its compliance and effectiveness.

Design and communicate the quality strategy to senior management, including key issues, action plans, and results achieved.

Develop, manage, and promote corporate quality practices, including the policy, directive, and quality manual.
-
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the organization, ensuring awareness across all staff of the importance of complying with applicable requirements.
-
Serve as the process owner for key evaluation and improvement processes (customer satisfaction, internal audits, non-conformance management, and corrective actions).
-
Act as the custodian of the ISO 9001 certification (including QMS compliance) and manage the contractual relationship with the external registrar.

Define and implement governance related to compliance with professional practice requirements (professional orders: engineers, architects, land surveyors, etc.).

Lead and develop team members located across Canada, including planning, organizing, and managing performance.

Manage the corporate component of purchasing standards and technical documents—from contract management to handling internal requests. Manage registrations and required documentation for annual renewals and registrations with provincial associations.
Qualifications
- University degree in one of the following fields: Engineering, Project Management, or any other relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, including at least 5 years in a value-added role (e.g., operations or a related function providing deep knowledge of quality processes and procedures).
- Experience in the consulting engineering sector or a service-oriented company is considered a strong asset.
- Advanced knowledge of quality management tools.
- Familiarity with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Strong skills in MS Office 365 suite.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate.
- Demonstrates adaptability, flexibility, autonomy, and agility.
- Fluency in both French and English is required in order to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders across Canada.
- Internal auditor certification is considered an asset.
