Primary Responsibilities The Senior Project Manager will provide Project Management leadership for planning and executing projects that enable enterprise capabilities. This individual will be responsible for the planning and execution of projects across multiple functions. This role will manage the relationships with business sponsors and project owners, to ensure rapid and effective closure of business gaps and opportunities. This is not an IT Project Manager role. Essential Functions
- Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food).
- Develop and maintain highly effective working relationships with all stakeholders at all levels.
- Conduct regular meetings with leadership with stated objectives and outcomes, ensuring alignment on objectives and awareness of results.
- Manage approvals, acceptance, and signoffs for EPMO initiatives.
- Drive the development of financial forecasts and budget plans as required.
- Deliver key enterprise Project messages.
- Drive the top-down and bottom-up effort to create an aligned portfolio of initiatives with cost estimates and quantifiable business benefits.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in planning, prioritizing, and forecasting the portfolio of projects.
- Drive solution selection and implementation, supporting the RFI, RFP, sourcing, negotiation of where applicable.
- Develop requirements and business cases for initiatives by conducting meetings/interviews and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with partners.
- Drive portfolio governance and gate process to ensure programs/projects are appropriately resourced, planned, and executed/delivered.
- Function as the business advocate in the initiation, planning and execution of projects. Engage directly with assigned program and project managers to stay abreast of program performance, issues, and risks and assist them with timely resolution.
- Keep business partners and stakeholders informed on progress or projects, issues, risks, financials to ensure transparency, business input and collaborative decision making.
- Maintain awareness of current and future direction of industry peers and various partners, and where appropriate, make recommendations for new initiatives and/or ways of working.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of marketing, business administration, engineering, or equivalent
- 7+ years relevant work experience spanning business relationship management, project planning and execution, deployments, roadmap development, and portfolio management.
- Working knowledge and/or experience with PMP, PPM, Change Management, Process Optimization Methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present information in ways senior business and financial leaders can understand and support.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work with stakeholders in different regions and interact effectively with different cultures.
- Exceptionally self-motivated and self-directed to work with Leadership and geographically dispersed business teams.
