POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role involves developing and executing strategies to generate leads, nurture client relationships, and achieve long-term revenue goals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementing strategies to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in various sectors, including corporate clients, healthcare facilities, schools, government agencies, and other organizations needing first aid training and supplies.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals, including forecasting, cold calling, product demonstrations, and closing sales.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Cooperating with various departments to ensure smooth delivery of training courses and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Providing regular reports to the CEO on sales activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, customer service or a related role, ideally in the health & safety, training, or medical products sector
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field (preferred)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Fluency in English
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Analytical and detail-minded with decent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work within a “team first” environment, and complete common goals within time sensitive deadlines
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Knowledge in QuickBooks and Inventory Management System
- Fluency in second language is an asset
**JOB TYPE:**Full-time
PAY: $46,800 to $50,700 annually (37.5 hours a week) plus Commission
