The Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, financially savvy, and trustworthy Audit & Compliance Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance across our 19 businesses by conducting audits of financial transactions, inventory records, and operational procedures.
Working closely with Finance, Operations, and People & Culture, you’ll help safeguard the integrity of our systems, identify risks, and recommend improvements. If you’ve got experience in hospitality, strong financial acumen, and a natural ability to build trust, this role is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic BC tourism and hospitality company.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Audit financial transactions, inventory, and POS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify inconsistencies, trends, and risks in sales and operational records.
- Partner with managers to strengthen best practices for compliance, security, and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with People & Culture on investigations, ensuring fairness and discretion.
- Deliver clear reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and support training programs that improve compliance practices across teams.
- Stay current on industry best practices to keep our compliance systems strong.
- Uphold The Gibbons Way values in every interaction, with a focus on trust and teamwork.
What You Bring to the Table
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry (essential).
- Alignment with The Gibbons values, especially Encourage Trust.
- Strong financial acumen and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with POS, inventory, and financial management systems.
- Previous auditing experience preferred (but not required).
- A proactive self-starter who thrives when working independently and takes initiative.
- Strong analytical skills to spot patterns and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
