About the role
Job Description Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Develop formal product training infrastructure for internal and external purposes which addresses inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and operational best practices
- Supervise, perform testing, and commissioning of equipment to meet internal and customer requirements.
- Assist and coordinate with Service and Engineering teams to resolve operational service issues.
- Maintain good interfaces between local service teams and global engineering teams to ensure 24/7/365 coverage for urgent service on operational issues
- Assist in service reporting, failure analysis and investigations, coordination with engineering and reporting to customer Service Quality Management representatives
- Technical Manual production and standardization, Service Bulletins, Information Bulletins.
- To keep up to date with relevant technology and with the operation of relevant hardware and software within the Product Line.
- Collaboration is required to maximize NOV CAPS/ISE value with customers.
- Maintain customer relationships, stay in tune with product feedback and performance through customer’s eyes.
- All other duties required.
Education & Qualification
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Technical diploma or trade designation such as: Heavy Equipment Technician, Automotive Service Technician,Rig Technician, Millwright
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, or equivalent knowledge, in one or more of the following areas: Hydraulic assembly, troubleshooting, and repair Mechanics, Pump and/or valve assembly, disassembly, or repair, Electrical control systems operation and diagnosis
- Oilfield maintenance and repair (experience with NOV CT/N2 or related systems is an asset)
- Experience in operation, assembly, testing, and design of oilfield service equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, and codes
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with diverse employees, departments, and customers
Compliance & Safety
- Must follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs
- Includes but not limited to: process maps, support processes, health, safety, and environmental requirements
Technical Requirements (software Or Program Knowledge Needed)
- Microsoft Office & Outlook knowledge is required
HSE Requirements (Training And Physical Requirements)
- Mix of indoor and outdoor work, possible exposure to dust, fumes, or gases, and changes in temperature and humidity.
- Work around or on functioning equipment.
- Required to wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection as needed as per company and customer HSE policies.
- May be required to possess valid certifications in first aid, WHIMIS, and H2S or others to visit customer well sites.
- HSE Orientation.
