About the role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey.
Over the coming years, our teams will be supporting the delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary rail infrastructure programmes, encompassing major linear works, stations, interfaces, systems integration, and construction staging in dense urban and operational environments. You will be a visible leader internally and externally, bringing credibility, commercial acumen, and a strong understanding of inter-disciplinary construction risk, safety, and assurance within live rail environments.
If you are seeking a role where you can lead at scale, influence outcomes across a portfolio, and help define the future of rail delivery in Canada, we would welcome your interest.
You’ll need to have:
- Proven senior leadership experience in rail or major infrastructure construction.
- Strong background in complex, multi‑stakeholder programme environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams through periods of growth and delivery pressure. Be able to demonstrate team building ability.
- Commercially astute, with experience managing delivery risk and performance at scale.
- Respected industry presence with the credibility to operate at executive and client leadership level.
- Demonstrated leadership accountability for health, safety, and workforce protection within high‑risk rail construction environments.
- Comprehensive experience in construction management, contracts administration, fieldwork, and construction inspections.
- A knowledge understanding of CDM Construction regulations and be able to adapt to Canadian equivalent.
- Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address internal client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
- Expert oral and written communication skills and proven ability to create and deliver persuasive and engaging presentations to our industry's audiences.
- Provide leadership and oversight to develop innovative changes/improvements and best practices for construction management office (CMO) internal processes and policies.
