Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Strategist to join our Strategic Planning & Transformation team within Autodesk’s Worldwide Marketing organization. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with 4+ years of professional experience, preferably including time at a management consulting firm or in a strategic planning function. You’ll help shape marketing strategy, drive cross-functional initiatives, and facilitate strategic conversations that align with Autodesk’s business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior marketing leaders to define and evolve strategic priorities across the organization
  • Lead and support strategic planning cycles, including annual planning, quarterly reviews, and transformation initiatives
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities
  • Develop clear, compelling presentations and strategic narratives for executive audiences
  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and action
  • Collaborate with teams across marketing, product, and business operations to ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to optimize marketing investments and impact
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing strategy, management consulting, or strategic planning
  • Strong generalist skill set with experience in problem-solving, analysis, and executive communication
  • Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and lead strategic discussions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the tech or SaaS industry
  • Familiarity with strategic frameworks (e.g., SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, OKRs)
  • Experience with marketing analytics and performance measurement
