Purpose:

The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that all contractual requirements are fulfilled on a day-to-day basis. This includes maintaining consistent communication with client. This role requires a proactive approach to managing client relationships and a thorough understanding of the contract’s specifics to guarantee client satisfaction and contractual compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of contractual requirements such as service expectations, reporting and communication protocols
  • Participate in medical device recalls and customer notifications to contracted clients
  • Respond to client information requests
  • Investigate and respond to reported risk events
  • Use database reporting systems from multiple sources and advanced Excel tools to produce meaningful customized analysis and business information such as identification of product, sales and process development opportunities.
  • Responsible for updating online catalogues, system worksheets and communication material dedicated to customers
  • Collaborate with Customer Care managers and supervisors to support efficient communication to patients, and contracted agencies staff
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team leaders to foster compliance to policies and procedures
  • Maintain high level of services in French
  • Communicate systems’ interruption affecting key customers
  • Participate in negotiation and implementation of Transition Care programs and other client contracts
  • Collaborate closely with the inventory and purchasing teams to effectively manage back-ordered items.
  • Participate in meetings online or in person as required

Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a requirement

  • Post-secondary Education in a related field

  • 3-5 years proven customer service experience

  • Ability to provide training

  • Experience in a medical or pharmacy clinic setting is an asset

SKILLS:

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external contacts, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently when necessary
  • Strong critical thinking and good decision making abilities
