##Instructor – Course Design for Hybrid Delivery

Do you believe that thoughtfully designed blended and hybrid learning improves accessibility, strengthens engagement, and drives real world performance—particularly in public sector and professional learning environments?
Seneca is seeking an experienced instructor to support Blended by Design, a hands on professional development initiative that equips educators and learning professionals with practical tools for modern instructional design, hybrid delivery, and inclusive teaching practice.
##What’s on Your Horizon
**Delivery Mode:**In person
**Instructional Commitment:**8 total hours (delivered over two days)
Responsibilities: You will guide participants through practical, application focused approaches to:
- Blended and hybrid course design
- Flexible and inclusive learning strategies
- Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
- Active learning and learner engagement
- Assessment and feedback strategies for blended environments
Instruction emphasizes real world scenarios, collaborative learning, and actionable takeaways participants can immediately apply in their own contexts.
##What You Bring to Seneca
- A graduate degree (Master’s required; PhD an asset) in Education or a related discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in blended and hybrid learning environments
- Strong grounding in adult learning theory, instructional design, and inclusive course development
- A learner centred, practical teaching approach that makes complex concepts clear and actionable
- Experience delivering engaging, accessible, and high impact learning aligned with applied learning principles

**Pay Range:**Dependent on experience
Your compensation step will be determined based on receiving and verifying relevant formal education through official transcripts and relevant work experience, in accordance with the salary placement calculation.
Note: As part of our pre-employment process, we validate employment and education credentials at the time of an offer. For professor positions, we require copies of official transcripts directly from the issuing institution or credential evaluation from World Education Services (WES) or International Credential Assessment Service (ICAS). However, we recommend that candidates gather any supporting documentation (e.g., unofficial transcripts, scan of credentials) in advance to support their applications in the event that they are successful in the hiring process.
