What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Manage the entire engine testing cycle: planning, installation, testing, and disassembly.
  • Define test priorities with program managers and ensure communication with technical staff.
  • Provide technical expertise and detailed instructions for altitude testing.
  • Supervise the installation, instrumentation, DAS configuration, and validate data integrity.
  • Ensure the engine's safety by defining and applying appropriate protections and report any limit exceedances.
  • Monitor the progress of the tests, identify risks, and report them to specialists and clients.
  • Provide engineering support: data analysis, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to clients.
  • Write test reports and lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with EHS standards.

What do you need to be successful?

  • B.A.Sc in relevant engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and gas turbines.
  • Experience in experimental design and instrumentation.
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy, and demonstrated motivation.
  • Availability for occasional travel to support programs and clients

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
