We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Estimating Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience based in our Mississauga office.

Responsibilities:

• Verify data accuracy for customer information, requirements, orders, and invoices.
• Coordinate with Sales and Engineering teams to obtain missing information and address inquiries.
• Liaise with Logistics to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain and update records of sales and customer information.
• Generate monthly sales reports.
• Communicate essential customer feedback to relevant teams internally.
• Stay current with new product offerings and features.
• Expedite orders through collaboration with internal departments.
• Direct customer feedback to appropriate departments.
• Identify potential new products to enhance offerings.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project documents.
• Identify issues in estimates and work with the team to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Work with Engineers to build and maintain a racking costs database.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional team meetings as required.
• Verify racking designs to meet customer specifications.
• Coordinate customer requests with other departments.
• Stay updated on customer requirements and communicate changes to the team.
• Adapt work hours to support the Canada office as needed.
• Approach challenges with a positive attitude.
• Conduct professional interactions when giving or receiving feedback.
• Create presentations, reports, and sales proposals.
• Create projects budgets
• Collaborate with business development, marketing, and product teams on competitive proposals.
• Use CRM tools to drive sales, enhance forecasting, and manage client accounts.
• Work proficiently in Microsoft Excel to create charts, maps, pivot tables, and macros for automated workflows.
• Review technical data from Engineering and ensure project requirements are met.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in completed work.
• Show initiative and innovation in independent problem-solving.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience and Credentials

• Bachelors degree in engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimating coordinator.
• Experience in Manufacturing and Design is an asset
• Experience in Solar Industry is an asset
