- Minimum 2-3 years experience working in digital marketing
- Website design and management experience
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in marketing, business or related field
- Email marketing software (internal system is Klaviyo)
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google my Business
- Knowledge with SEO
- PR and communications knowledge
- Experience in event planning and food and beverage industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google my Business)
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Public speaking
- Content creation
- Photography/videography and graphic design experience is an asset
- Proficiency with Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, Lightroom Classic)
- Microsoft programs
- Understanding digital marketing trends and best practices
- Knowledge of Cowbell’s line of products (Cowbell beer, Hijinx Ready to Drink Seltzers, Twelve Apostles Small Batch Spirits) is an asset
Responsibilities Website Maintenance
- General updates
- Digital Coordinator is the main point of contact for any website updates required by department heads
- Digital Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely updates to hero images, hours of operation, upcoming events and new product launches on the website
- Digital Coordinator is responsible for ensuring products listed for sale on the website by the Retail Team have adequate imagery and that copy is concurrent with SKU specific information
- Regular website maintenance updates of Shopify website including adding events, updating banners, hours and regular review of the website to ensure it stays current with branding and current product offerings
- SEO on the website including but not limited to developing keywords, image descriptions, etc. to increase website traffic
- Website Design
- The Digital Coordinator will do regular checks of the website to ensure it stays updated and work with the Marketing Manager to determine when/if overall website enhancements are required.
- Should website improvements require the use of a third-party service, this position will be included in the development of any future RFPs pertaining to website design and performance, and a member of the selection team. Work with external vendors to update design, copy, imagery, etc.
Email Newsletters
- Creating email templates that align with Cowbell’s brand guidelines and reviewing with the marketing team
- Regular email send outs to align with upcoming Cowbell events, promotions, etc. based on branded email templates using Klaviyo.
Social Media Support & Content Development
- Support social media content, ads, copy and management as needed
- Social media graphics (including motion graphics) needed for new product launches, holidays, hours, etc.
- Work collaboratively with influencers, PR partners, and internal team to develop content showcasing influencer visits, events and other PR opportunities as assigned.
- Monitoring social media messages and inquiries - may include weekend monitoring
Graphic Design Support
- Under the leadership of the Design Lead and Marketing Manager, help to create graphic design materials for the restaurant, events, sales team, etc. using Adobe InDesign
- Create motion and 3D animated graphics using platforms such as Adobe Express
Online Ads & Channel Marketing
- Developing copy, keywords and visuals to effectively increase awareness and in line with budget
- Monitoring, tracking and reporting on campaign performance
- In collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Design Lead, help create and coordinate ads for channel marketing.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and report on website traffic, email campaigns, Google ads and social media
- Regularly tracking, reporting and providing insights on campaigns and organic performance to the Marketing Manager and team
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to contribute to marketing strategies
Photography & Videography
- Liaise with the Marketing Manager to ensure a robust, on-brand photo and video bank is maintained for all departments in the company. This may involve developing shot lists, organizing files and overseeing photo and video shoots.
- Helping to curate and create images/videos for use across platforms
Other Duties As Assigned
- Lead tours and share Cowbell’s story to influencers, key partners and more.
- As a valued member of Cowbell’s Marketing Team, the Digital Coordinator will have the opportunity to participate in any and all marketing initiatives as time and skillset allows. So long as core responsibilities of the role are met, there will be opportunity to contribute to various projects and objectives as they arise.
