Purpose** To help organize and provide materials to the mine storages in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the inventory level and housekeeping in the mine underground storages
- Perform general housekeeping i.e. Refuge stations, storages, travel ways and removal of scrap out of mine.
- Delivery of supplies and material including explosives to storages.
- Perform audits as required.
- Must be willing to acquire Boom Truck and Toyota Licensing.
Training and Education
- High School Diploma
- Underground Common Core Certificate is required
- U0006 Blast Rock
- U0011 Extend Services
- U0024 Operate Utility Vehicle
- Minimum of 2 years mining experience
- Experience operating Heavy machinery
- Self-starter, works alone, understands the needs of the crews
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good Safety and attendance record
