KPMG's Consumer Industrial Markets Tax practice is looking for a Tax Manager.
As part of the engagement team, you will excel in servicing the planning and compliance needs of our clients. This position provides the opportunity to participate in a broad range of tax-related work requiring analysis, assessment, and quantification. Special projects and research will ensure that you are kept up-to-date on current tax practices.
What You Will Do
- Conduct research and analysis on a wide variety of tax issues
- Review corporate and personal tax returns
- Review tax provisions for larger audit and non-audit clients
- Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality service
- Support senior staff in all aspects of corporate tax initiatives
- Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies
- Prepare and advise on corporate, personal, and trust tax returns
- Stay current on tax legislation and industry trends through special projects and research
What You Bring To The Role
- Successful completion of the CFE or expected completion within the year
- 1-2 years of experience in a public accounting firm
- Enrollment in or interest in the CPA In-Depth Tax Program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build trust through clear communication
- Initiative to seek opportunities to expand expertise and contribute to team success
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
