We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy, brand growth, and campaign execution across the organization.

About the Role

This role is responsible for driving revenue, program participation, and brand awareness across Alberta. You will lead integrated marketing campaigns that support fundraising, program registrations, and new social enterprise initiatives.

This is an opportunity for a builder and leader—someone who can develop strategy, implement systems, lead a team, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with revenue, participation, and growth goals
  • Partner with leadership to align marketing with fundraising and organizational priorities
  • Guide budget allocation, campaign design, and channel strategy

Brand & Content

  • Lead brand development and storytelling, including the 75th anniversary campaign
  • Oversee website performance, annual reporting, and creative direction
  • Balance compelling storytelling with data-driven marketing

Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (fundraising, programs, events, awareness)
  • Manage a ~$150K marketing budget
  • Oversee paid media (Google Ad Grant, Meta, etc.) and optimize performance across channels

Performance & Analytics

  • Own key marketing KPIs (revenue, leads, conversions)
  • Build and manage analytics and tracking systems
  • Report on performance and ROI with actionable insights

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with Fund Development and program teams to drive engagement
  • Manage external vendors and partners
  • Lead and develop a small marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a focus on growth or performance marketing
  • Proven success with paid media and integrated campaigns
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience building or scaling marketing functions
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing ROI

Assets

  • Experience in nonprofit or social enterprise environments
  • Experience marketing to multiple audiences or programs
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing analytics tools
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive marketing practices

Role Details

  • Full-time position (approx. 40 hours/week), reporting to the Director of Philanthropy
  • In-office role, with travel to other locations as required
  • Successful Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
  • Some evening and weekend work may be required
