Join our 12 weeks paid training program to become a Gas Turbine Engine Mechanic in the aerospace industry. You will gain hands-on experience in precision measurement, reading OEM manuals and blueprints, and disassembling and assembling aircraft engines and a chance to launch your career in a leading aerospace company.
Program Start Date: April 06, 2026 What You Will Do
- Repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines.
- Inspection of engine modules and engine components.
- Working independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality.
- Completing relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Observing all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.
- The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, assembly, repair, or related hands-on technical work (aerospace, automotive or industrial)
Desired Skills
- Some mechanical experience.
- Familiarity with precision measurement.
- Basic understanding of Gas Turbine Engines.
- Previous experience with routine induction/dismantle of engines/components.
- High attention to detail.

These two divisions represent the core strengths of StandardAero, our exhaustive engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services capabilities and our significant portfolio of component repair services for business aviation, commercial aviation, military, fixed wing, helicopter and industrial power customers.
