Position Overview:

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Systems Navigator establishes and maintain a point of contact with clients, supporting them in navigating services within Dilico Anishinabek Family Care (Dilico) and assessing external support. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the System Navigator delivers community-based services in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures for all Dilico clients and families served.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Indigenous Studies, Office Aministration, or equivealent, and/or experience relevant to the position considered
  • Two (2) years' experience coordination and/or managing social programs and servcies
  • One (1) year direct service experience with children and families
  • Experience working with aboriginal people, organziaitons, and communities
  • Satisfactory Criminal Records Search; including a Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Must have a valid Class “G” Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
  • $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance
  • Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
  • Provide on-call service on a rotational basis, provide coverage when necessary
  • Travel is an expectation of this position.

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
