Description The CFSS Disposition Administrator opening is a current vacant position at General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada. The base salary hiring range for this position is $54,000 to $70,900 per year. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the full salary range based on performance. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include additional components of our total compensation package, such as our incentive award program and other rewards like health benefits, employee profit-sharing, retirement savings, and more. - Facilitate the Demilitarization of material via standard processes
- Execute Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) transactions for designated contract including, but not limited to, disposition transactions, orders, receipts, issues, movements, TECOs, etc
- Operate within the Canadian Forces Supply System (CFSS) to support material parts requirements on assigned contracts
- Maintain compliance to the Department of National Defence (DND) Supply Administration Manual (SAM)
- Execute Oracle transactions required to facilitate disposition, receipt, utilization, and movements of applicable material
- Maintain a number of internal record and tracking documents utilizing Microsoft office suit i.e. Excel Workbooks, Access Databases
- Coordinate with scrap sub-contractor and 3rd party warehouse as required
- Coordinate and communicate with customer counterparts such as DND Quality Assurance (NDQAR), Supply Managers, DRMIS Auditors, and DND Depot Staff
- Liaise with Service Representative contacts for material and parts support
- Review, update, or apply material tags and labels
- Monitor and report on of status of material and parts for assigned tasks
- Review and update internal work instruction and reference documents
- Be able to read and interpret DND documents such as the SAM
- Hold and maintain a level 2 security clearance
- Coordinate with Material Handlers and Quality Assurance for material disposition support
- Any other duties as identified by Supervisor and Area Manager
Required Qualifications
- College Diploma in relevant discipline or 1-3 years’ equivalent experience in a production supportability related field
- Must possess or able to obtain Secret Level II Security Clearance
- Must possess an Ontario G License
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, particularly in Excel
- Demonstrated proficiency in MRP, ERP Enterprise systems, such as Oracle
- Understanding of contract administration and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- DND CFSS DRIMIS experience and awareness of DND supply procedures
- Experience working within CFSS or a Defence supportability related field
- Obtain, or be able to obtain, a license and operate material handling devices. i.e. fork truck
- Experience in SAP software
