Great Blue Resorts owns and operates 10 private resort lakefront properties located throughout Ontario’s cottage country. These properties offer outright ownership of beautiful pre-manufactured seasonal recreational cottages. Our resorts have full facilities including community areas, swimming pools, splash pads, multi-sports courts, playgrounds and beaches.

Reservations Agent

Creating memorable guest experiences from the very first interaction.

The Reservations Agent plays an important role in shaping the guests’ experience before they arrive. This position is dedicated to creating positive, memorable interactions while supporting exceptional service at each touchpoint.

Focused on exceeding guest expectations, the Reservations Agent helps drive satisfaction, foster loyalty, and elevate the overall customer experience. Through personalized service, thoughtful recommendations, and support, you will contribute to the success of our resort and the happiness of our guests, owners, and fellow team members.

You will make a difference by:

  • Creating a warm and welcoming first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their entire stay.
  • Helping guests discover experiences they didn’t even know they were looking for through personalized recommendations and thoughtful suggestions.
  • Contributing directly to the success of the resort by converting inquiries into bookings.
  • Ensuring guests feel heard, valued, and supported, leading to higher satisfaction, stronger loyalty, and returning visitors.
  • Supporting a positive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and celebrating guest successes together.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience Focus

  • Answer each call with enthusiasm, kindness, and professionalism, ensuring every guest feels valued and supported.
  • Book reservations for resort properties while listening carefully to guest preferences and offering personalized suggestions to enhance their stay.
  • Provide information about resort activities, amenities, and local attractions, building excitement and anticipation for upcoming visits.

Revenue Generation with a Positive Impact

  • Contribute to increasing resort revenue through reservations and additional guest services, always focusing on delivering value and enhancing the guest experience.
  • Stay current on promotions, packages, and property information to ensure guests are aware of the best options available.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support a seamless and positive guest journey from first contact through check-out.

Administration & Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate reservation records and CRM information, processing deposits and payments efficiently.
  • Monitor online content and assist in ensuring resort information is accurate, appealing, and up to date.

Fostering Positivity and Satisfaction

  • Strive to achieve consistently high guest satisfaction scores (90% or higher) through thoughtful service and proactive problem solving.
  • Listen to and respond to guest feedback as an opportunity for continuous improvement.
  • Build positive relationships with staff, guests, and owners, contributing to a collaborative and supportive workplace.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with guests in a friendly and engaging manner.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, or customer service is an asset.
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute in a dynamic, positive, and fast-paced environment.

Hourly Rate $20.00
