🦷 Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional patient care and building strong, personal connections at every visit
  • Providing hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and patient goals
  • Educating patients to improve their oral health and treatment experience
  • Collecting dental/medical history and preparing patients for the Orthodontist
  • Taking & processing X-rays while following all safety protocols
  • Performing hygiene care: cleaning, polishing, flossing, and examining gum health
  • Assisting with orthodontic procedures (bonding, removal of brackets, placing/removing archwires, etc.)
  • Keeping accurate patient records and notes
  • Supporting lab duties and sterilization of equipment
  • Engaging in aftercare calls and patient support
  • Traveling to satellite locations when needed
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain a respectful, positive, and high-energy clinic environment

✅ Requirements

  • Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree, with registration/licensure in good standing with the provincial hygiene regulatory authority
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferred, not required)
  • CPR & First Aid certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — a true patient-first mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Orthodontic experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
