Retail Operations Specialist, L'Oréal Luxe

A Day in the Life

As the Retail Operations Specialist, you will be the operational backbone of our luxury retail environments. Reporting to the Head of Retail Design & Visual Merchandising, you will act as the "gatekeeper" of our brand image at the store level, ensuring flawless execution and upholding our luxury standards through meticulous administrative and process-driven support.

  • Store Lifecycle & Data Management: You will support the logistical rollout of new store openings, act as the expert liaison for our Field Sales teams, and ensure all store-level information is meticulously updated in our master data and commercial systems.
  • Maintenance & Vendor Coordination: You will manage the internal repair and request system to resolve store image issues promptly, maintain strong relationships with maintenance suppliers, and track performance to drive process improvements.
  • Operational & Team Support: Acting as a bridge between Field teams and the Head Office, you will manage a heavy flow of communication and provide key administrative support to the RDVM team to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Financial Administration: You will oversee the entire lifecycle of Purchase Orders (POs) for the department, coordinating with Accounts Payable and Finance to ensure budgets are tracked accurately and projects are closed efficiently.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment. You are a natural bridge-builder with a keen eye for detail and an inherent understanding of the standards required in the world of luxury. Your ideal profile includes:

  • Retail Savvy: A background in or a deep understanding of the retail industry, especially within the beauty or luxury space.
  • Operational Excellence: You are energized by spreadsheets, checklists, and data accuracy, with exceptional prioritization skills to manage a high volume of requests.
  • Project Management: A proactive mindset for finding and fixing process gaps, ensuring every task is seen through to completion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and our sales force.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel is mandatory, with the ability to manage complex data files with ease.
