Job Description
Allied Universal is Site Supervisor (Security Operations) in Mississauga, ON.
Title: Site Supervisor (Security Operations)
Location**:** Mississauga, ON
Pay-rate: $21.25 per hour
Type: Full Time
**Schedule:**Monday to Friday, 06:00 am to 02:00 pm
Overview**:**
Allied Universal is seeking a professional and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a high-profile GTA service centre facility. The successful candidate will provide leadership to on-site security personnel, ensure compliance with client and company standards, and maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage incidents, reporting, scheduling, and operational performance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support security personnel during assigned shifts
- Ensure all security operations are conducted in accordance with site procedures and company policies
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the facility
- Monitor access control, CCTV systems, alarms, and incident response activities
- Handle emergency situations, incidents, and escalations professionally and efficiently
- Prepare and review daily occurrence reports, incident reports, and shift summaries
- Train, mentor, and coach security staff to maintain high performance standards
- Conduct site orientations and ensure all staff understand post orders and procedures
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, scheduling, and compliance
- Liaise with management, emergency services, contractors, and stakeholders as required
- Ensure all health and safety standards are followed
- Assist with investigations and provide detailed documentation when necessary
- Address client concerns and maintain strong professional relationships while protecting client confidentiality
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in security operations.
- Recognition or proven merit in the field of security or law enforcement is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong report writing and documentation abilities.
- Proficient with computers, surveillance systems, and digital communication tools.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a comprehensive background check.
- Standard/Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically fit: able to stand/walk for long periods, climb stairs, and occasionally lift/carry up to 20 kg.
