This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support strategic initiatives. Working closely with departments such as finance, operations, marketing, and member services, the BI Analyst develops dashboards, reports, and visualizations that improve business performance, member engagement, and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making processes.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns and generate actionable insights and recommendations to inform business strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to define reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity and reliability by implementing data validation techniques and performing regular audits of data sources and pipelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest BI tools and trends, proposing innovative solutions to improve data visualization and reporting capabilities.

What you bring:

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ hands-on experience in a Business Intelligence development role.
  • Hands-on design and development experience using Power BI and SQL mandatory, SSAS, SSRS and SSIS familiarity is an asset.
  • Data modelling, unit testing and Master Data Management experience is desirable.

Education and Training:

  • Post-secondary education in computer technology or IT related discipline from an accredited institution.

Other: Occasional travel to Servus Corporate Centre (Edmonton) or regional offices may be necessary.
