Principal Accountabilities
Ensuring food safety and quality
Maintaining a safe work environment Trimming and cutting meat Perform/supporting roles in meat Fabrication Assist Machine Operators Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing, packing, pushing, pulling and lifting product weighing 20lbs – 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation Working with raw meat particularly Beef products Ability to work in temperature controlled environments (Hot/Cold 0-4 Celsius) Cleanliness and housekeeping Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
Must be currently legal to work in Canada Must be comfortable with cutting, picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing and packing raw meat (beef) Must be able to push, pull and lift meat products weighing up to 60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to work in cold (0-4 Celsius) or Hot temperature controlled environments Must be comfortable working with knives and hooks
Preferred Qualifications
Food processing production experience
