Redhead Equipment has an exciting career opportunity for a Lead Hand – Heavy Truck & Trailer , based out of our Estevan branch supporting the Heavy Truck product line.
At Redhead Equipment we do Whatever It Takes to meet the needs of our customers and have been doing so for over 75 years. We deliver the most dependable brands of agricultural, construction and truck/trailer equipment across 10 locations in Saskatchewan.
This position will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Heavy Truck and Trailers. You will lead by example supporting the department and providing technical guidance to a team of technicians. This position will be communicating with customers to provide solutions to their needs.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:
Overall mechanical ability
Experience and/or formal trade training in Truck & Trailer mechanics
Strong computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs.
Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics.
Possess superior leadership and communication skills.
Commitment to customer service and pride in quality workmanship
Positive and team-oriented attitude
Preference will be given to candidates with Journeyperson status.
