Heavy Duty Technician - Prince Albert, SK - $2500 NEW HIRE BONUS !
First Student is hiring immediately for a Heavy Duty Technician at our Prince Albert, SK shop - NEW HIRE BONUS! As a Technician with First Student, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of the children who rely on us for a safe ride to and from school in our classic yellow buses.

About The Position At First Student, our Heavy Duty Technicians perform maintenance and repairs to ensure our fleet of vehicles remains safe and reliable. Using diagnostic skills and technical expertise, you will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as part of your daily work, which includes:
- Performing maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Completing work orders accurately and on time
- Assisting with mobile emergency services when required
Qualifications You may be a great fit for this role if:
- You have experience working with diesel engines, heavy trucks, or bus fleets
- You hold a valid driver's licence and are willing to obtain a Class 2 licence with "S" endorsement (we provide training)
- You are a registered Heavy Duty Technician Apprentice or Journeyperson (Truck & Transport Mechanic/Heavy Duty Equipment Technician - Red Seal)
- You possess a mechanic's tool set
- You want to continue learning and developing your skills with employer-supported training
