About the role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring two (2) Trailer Mechanics on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

Shifts available: Monday to Friday, 6:15 am to 2:45 pm

Monday to Thursday, 2:45 pm – 1:15 am

What you’ll do:

  • Perform mechanical services on retail delivery units and semi-trailer units such as checking and rebuilding of pumps and meters, mounting PTO's, test and repair piping and fittings as required.
  • Inspect, adjust, repair or replace parts and components, and diagnose commercial truck-trailer systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, air brakes, suspension and electrical systems.
  • Complete tests and inspections required by provincial and Transport Canada regulations on cargo tanks, commercial trailers and associated equipment.
  • Install and transfer tanks on retail delivery units.
  • Install and troubleshoot truck mounted fuel management equipment.
  • Perform aluminum cutting, welding, and fitting on aluminum tanks and equipment.
  • Complete tests required by Transport Canada on cargo tanks and associated equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and :

  • Have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Carry a valid Class 5 Driver’s License; Class 3A Drivers License is considered an asset.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of related experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have a mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
