About the role
Job Description Some of what you will do: Support mail centre operations by working in partnership to ensure proper and timely receiving and distribution of all incoming/outgoing mail, and courier shipments. Liaison for Mail Equipment’s supplies. Represent Staples to the highest degree in a professional, friendly & efficient manner by supporting both the mail centre and the front desk when required.
Specifically, You Will
- Ensure proper receiving, sorting, and notifying associates of all incoming shipments.
- Same day courier request processing.
- Investigate unknown/unaddressed mail/parcels.
- Support the process to endure the preparation of all outbound UPS shipments by 3:30.
- Responsible to maintain an adequate inventory of FedEx /UPS Supplies.
- Execute special outbound mail & parcel initiatives when and as required.
- Responsible to maintain an adequate inventory of the Supply Area and the Assembly Area.
- Mail Centre Reporting – courier data (incoming and outgoing_ postage enter all data in TMS.
- Contact for record retention program – ensure proper chargebacks, tracking , purge schedule for all documents stored with 3rd Party.
- Lunchtime and Break coverage for Front Desk Associate – and be prepared to assume and understand all responsibilities associated with these areas during these times.
- Open Past ETA HO related WO.
Some Of What You Need
- High school diploma required.
- Post-secondary education an asset.
- Bilingualism an asset.
- Sound knowledge of safety & security procedures relating to a reception area within a large corporate environment.
- Minimum 3 years of previous administrative role ideally with reception experience.
