  • Oversee the planning and implementation of initiatives aimed at providing attractive train station environments and spaces, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, scheduling, customer service, and other departments to ensure an integrated approach to capacity and train station development.
  • Provide input into consultation materials for communities, customers, and stakeholder groups.
  • Seek out opportunities for transit orientated development and associated housing.
  • Support our PDP in the assessment of existing train stations, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and meet growing demand.
  • Ensure that station planning and design meets project Objectives, including developing strategies to deliver “net zero”.

The requirements

  • Bachelor in a relevant discipline (Urban Planning, Architecture, Transportation planning or related fields).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with experience in leading consultants.
  • Proven experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in the design and development of infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of railway and/or transit systems, station operations, and intermodal integration.
  • Thorough knowledge of passenger transport industry (or similar) regulations and standards.
  • Bilingualism required
