About the role

###Description

Reporting to the Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, the role of the Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis is to provide financial guidance and analytics to support key decisions related to D&D’s key technology platforms globally. This includes understanding all financial aspects of the P&L, variance analysis, data consolidation and special projects. The ideal candidate brings demonstrable experience with conducting financial/operational reporting and modeling, and with presentation of findings/recommendations to management.

###Key Responsibilities

  • Supports decision making by providing stakeholders with timely and meaningful insights on business performance through monthly commentary, budget commentary, reporting and analysis.

  • Draw insights and make recommendations to business partners/ sales team on opportunities for improvement.

  • Supports the business unit in the development of business cases for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.

  • Experience developing and maintaining robust financial models supporting annual planning, monthly forecasting and strategic decision-making by senior management. - make more specific

  • Conduct pricing assurance activities to ensure approved pricing programs are in compliance.

###Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Strong experience in a financial planning & analysis and finacial modelling.

  • Experience in business case modelling, consolidations and multi-currency analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business/commerce or other quantitative discipline

  • Holds or working towards one or more professional designation i.e. CPA,CFA, MBA etc.

  • Must have a strong attention to detail and superior analytical/problem-solving skills, with a passion and curiosity for data and data-driven decision-making

  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to Executive level

  • Highly organized with good time management skills, and ability to effectively handle a large volume and variety of duties

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate well across diverse functional groups and geographies

In line with the amended Employment Standards Act 2000, the salary range for this role is: $75K-$95K, dependent on assessment of skills during the interview process.
