CIBC Investor’s Edge is a leading online brokerage platform, empowering self-directed investors with innovative tools, research, and seamless digital experiences. As a UI Designer (Engagement, Growth & Brand), you will drive the end-to-end design of features and experiences that connect marketing strategy with product outcomes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, shape new initiatives, and ensure the delivery of solutions that delight users and advance business goals. Your work will focus on integrating marketing insights and campaigns into the product experience.

- Product-Led Growth Initiatives - Partner with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to design and launch features that support acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, and upsell strategies.
- User-Centric Problem Solving - Conduct competitive analysis, and data synthesis to uncover insights and inform product direction, ensuring solutions are both user-friendly and market-relevant.
- End-to-End Design - Own the full design process for product feature marketing initiatives, from ideation and prototyping to launch and iteration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Technology, Project Management, Product and Marketing to align on requirements, timelines, and success metrics.
- Campaign Integration: Translate marketing campaigns and business objectives into seamless product experiences (e.g., personalized onboarding, promotional features, in-app messaging).
- Brand Stewardship - Ensure all marketing-driven UI elements reinforce CIBC’s brand guidelines and Investor’s Edge’s unique value proposition.
- Design Systems & Consistency - Contribute to and help evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across product and marketing touchpoints.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. You demonstrate 3–5 years of experience in UI/UX design, digital marketing design, or product design, ideally with exposure to growth, product marketing, or digital campaigns. Experience in financial services, fintech, or online brokerage platforms. Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- You can demonstrate ability to translate business and marketing goals into impactful product experiences. Experience leading end-to-end design projects, from discovery through delivery and optimization. Portfolio showcasing product design work that integrates marketing or growth strategies
- You show proficiency with Figma as the main design and prototyping tools. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence. Preferred skills in Video editing and motion graphics skills (Adobe Premiere and Adobe AfterEffects). Interest in AI tools (Figma Make, Midjourney, Gemini, ChatGPT etc)
- You give meaning to data. you show strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform and iterate on solutions.
- You are an effective Communicator. You demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
